LOSES MARE HANDY ROSE LEXINGTON, Ky., May 23.— W. H. Cres-Son of Mayfield, Ky., had the misfortune to lose Handy Rose, twelve-year-old bay mare, by Handsel — Arden Rose, at Hopkinsville, this week. The mare had been bred to one of the stallions of L. A. Moseleys Riverview Farm, and was being loaded for shipment back to Mayfield when she fell and sustained a compound fracture of the left hind leg. On the advice of Dr. G. P. Isbell she was humanely destroyed. The mare was insured.
