| CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES f LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 23. Trainer L. Campion ships the western division of the Wm. Ziegler, Jr., and Middle-burg Stable to Washington tonight. He will be accompanied by jockey G. N. Arnold. With the opening of Arlington Park the stable will be augmented by the eastern division in charge of Clyde Phillips. The Edward B. McLean stable, trained by, John F. Schorr, got away last night for the Homewood track. The crack Silverdale which has several stakes engagements at Washington Park, headed the string. Apprentice Eugene James and jockey; C. E. Allen reached todays final prograni of the Downs season tied for riding honors with fourteen winners each. D. Meade was in second place with twelve winners and C. Corbett was credited with ten. J. M. Reed was authorized to act as agent for Mrs. C. Gregory, owner of a small stable. J. M. Reed has turned the gelding Temps dAmour over to W. Z. Martin and the latter will campaign the animal at one of the smaller tracks in the Middle West at the conclusion of the Aurora meeting. On the Air, purchased yesterday from the C. V. Whitney stable, carried the colors of Mrs. C. Gregory in the closing race today. Following the close here T. C. Bradley leaves for his home at Lexington, while Elijah Hogg gets away tomorrow for More, head. William Hamilton will spend the interim between the local and Latonia meetings at his home in Hot Springs and C. B. Head goes to Chicago for the final four weeks of the Washington Park meeting. Sam Mc-Meekin remains here until the time to go to Latonia. J. B| Respess sold the Volonel Vennie filly Quiver to J. Alley, and she raced in the latters colors in the third race.
