l Q w r Z f of „ in , I i . j * „ fe c i, in LONG BRANCH TURF NOTES ? — — $ TORONTO, Ont., June 4. ] The following horses will occupy the outside post position in any race in which they may be started: Mac Daisy, Gilded Casino, Nick Cullop, Florida Gold, Voltear, Great Rock and Daisy Fair. An entire new set of Clark Stall Gates will be used during the Long Branch and Dufferin meetings. They have been built eleven inches higher than the gate previously usd and there is a two-inch wider parti- « tion between the various stalls. t There will not be any races started out the mile chute during the meeting. This . will allow the starting of horses directly front of the grandstands in races of a ■ mile or over. i There were many expressions of regret . when word was received of the death of . Dorothy Burns, three-year-old daughter of jockey Tommy Burns. She died at New York Monday. t Two of the oldest riders performing in j America will be seen in action at Long . Branch in A. Finley and C. OMahoney. The division of the W. G. Campbell band ] that was campaigned at Delorimier was | unloaded at Thorncliffe Monday morning. j Conny Smythes unruly Puckchaser has been unsexed since the close of the Thorncliffe and big improvement has been noted the colts disposition.
