LADDER REACHES HOMEWOOD HOMEWOOD, 111., June 13.— Although reports from the East and information received at the track offices indicated that the division of the Walter J. Salmon Stable, headed by the American Derby candidate, Ladder, would not reach Washington Park until Monday, a car bearing the Derby hopeful and eleven stable companions pulled in at the Homewood track at 4 oclock this afternoon. All in the shipment stood the trip from Belmont Park in fine fashion and came in charge of J. Tighe, chief assistant to Pat Dwyer. Ladder will be ridden by L. Schaefer in the American Derby. a
