STARS IN TRAINING MOVES HOMEWOOD, 111., June 13.— Impressive trials by Gallant Knight, Lady Broadcast, Bargello and Jimmy Moran, candidates for the 0,000 added Francis S. Peabody Memorial Handicap, to be decided over one mile and a quarter on the closing day of the meeting, marked the training over a good track at Washington Park this morning. Gallant Knight was sent the mile distance, while Lady Broadcast, Bargello and Jimmy Moran each went seven furlongs. The former Audley Farm star was timed in 1:42%, and went along well in hand through out the work, while Lady Broadcast was not fully extended as she negotiated the mentioned distance in 1:29%, and Bargello, working with Skirl, went in 1:30% very handily. Jimmy Moran was caught in 1:31%. Silverdale, pointing for the Inaugural Handicap, to be run on the opening day of the Arlington Park meeting, worked three-quarters in 1:16%, and Cousin Jo, an Arlington and Latonia Oaks candidate, a like distance in 1:15, handily, over the Homewood track.
