SIRE HONORS FOR SUPREMUS Represented by Largest Number of Two -Year-Old Winners During Year 1931. The distinction of being represented by the largest number of two-year-old winners in the racing of 1931 belongs to Hal Price Headleys stallion Supremus, b. h, 1922, by Ultimus Mary Hamilton. Supremus had fifteen winning two-year-olds, which collectively, won thirty-one races and 5,781. Modern Queen was the best of the Supremus youngsters, with three victories and 5,525 to her credit. Sir Gallahad III., daddy of Gallant Fox, was a close second with fourteen winners of twenty-one races, and 4,105. Dis Done, sire of Top Flight, the champion two-year-old of 1931, had thirteen winners of 47,916, the largest amount to the credit of any sire of juvenile winners. Next in order are Infinite, Stimulus, Way-good, each with eleven, winners. Among Infinites eleven were three good winners in Proteus with eight victories and 2,850, Universe with three and 0,000, and Economic, three and 4,050.
