j DERBY ELIGIBLES START | | AT DOWNS TODAY | LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 2.— The result of the mile Preparation Purse, to be run at Churchill Downs tomorrow, may add several starters to the Derby field. Included in the field of eleven is J. W. Parrishs Cold Check, which is making his initial three-year-old appearance under colors. A. B. Letelliers Sazerac, which finished second to Burning Blaze in the six and one-half furlongs Seelbach Purse Saturday, as well as Adobe Post and Crystal Prince, which were unplaced, are also among the list of acceptances. Norman W. Churchs Gallant Sir and the late Joseph Leiter s Prince Hotspur, both of which saw winter racing, will make their first appearances of the Kentucky season. With the exception of I Pass, which gets the maiden ten-pound allowance, the others carry 115 pounds each. The field, with weights and probable jockeys, follows: PP.
