FAIRENO OUT OF DERBY NEW YORK. N. Y., May 2.— Another that will not be sent West for the Derby is William Woodwards Faireno. This colt worked so brilliantly before the running of the Wood Memorial that he attracted general attention, but his performance in the 0,-000 prize was so disappointing that James Fitzsimmons decided that he would not go to Louisville. Instead of sending him to Churchill Downs, this colt, with Lnique and B lenheim, were shipped from Aqueduct to Pimlico Sunday. Faireno is engaged in the Preakness, and there is a chance he will be started, but he will have to improve if he is to start in that race.
