FINAL PAYMENTS DUE MAY 16 Final payments on nominations to the Arlington Futurity and Arlington Lassie Stakes, two of the nine major attractions on Arlington Parks pretentious program this summer, will be due May 16. The Futurity, for two-year-old entire colts and fillies, supplants the Post and Paddock Stakes, and the Arlington Lassie Stakes, for juvenile fillies only, takes the place of the Lassie Stakes. Both are at three-quarters. The Futurity, to which 5,000 will be added, is expected to gross about 5,000, there having been 560 nominations at 0 each, with second payrv.ents of 5 each made January 4 on 268 entries. There is now 9,980 in the pot. Final payment will be 0 on each nomination aud the starting fee will be ,000. The Lassie fund now totals 6,610, the result of 333 nominations at 0 each, 164 second payments of 0 and 0,000 added by the association. Final payment on May 16 also will be 0 and the starting fee ,000, so the gross should surpass 0,000. Last season the Post and Paddock was won by Burning Blaze, and the Lassie Stakes by Top Flight. Conditions for the 1933 Futurity and Lassie will be announced in June.
