The latter came through in the stretch and finished resolutely. PICO" BLANCO showed a good performance. EMERY tired. SAVOYARD acted badly at the barrier and tired. The latter, in close quarters on the stretch turn, clung to the rail and finished resolutely. MARECHAL raced on the outside and improved his position. SETRIGHT, a slow beginner, came through in the stretch and closed a gap. KING MAXIM began slowlv and could not get up. The latter, far back early, moved up fast on the stretch turn and, coming through in the stretch, closed resolutely. LONG RUN showed a creditable performance. PING COATES went very wide on the first turn, but closed with a belated rush. SHASTA SNOW quit under urging. SALONA tired.
