I SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES | $ , — _ Jockey George Seabo came through with one of the most brilliant exhibitions of horsemanship displayed at the meeting when he got home in front on Mrs. A. K. Weasts ; Princess Val, when the daughter of Dunlin performed in game fashion to graduate from the maiden ranks. Cedar Valley, a first time starter and which came in for much support, finished second and Chicaloo, the favorite, was third. Mr. A. Maciejewski, supervisor of the town of Cicero, was host to one hundred members of the West Suburban Club, for which the fourth race was named on Wednesdays program. The luncheon was served in the club house. The "Daily Double" system of betting will go into effect today, the second and third races are the events selected for the combination. F. McClellan registered the following horses: Toltec, Kranz Baby, Kranella, Cur-veur and Ed L. Ed McCuan has changed his plans of transferring his string to Aurora and will stay for the remainder of the meeting. The horses Galahad, Trycobel, Dispatcher, May Miller and Far Away arrived from New Orleans and were turned over to J. P. Mc-Govern to train. The former two will race for Mrs. Ives Duncan, while the latter trio will carry the silks of Mrs. J. Daly. Zebra and Jean, the property of Mrs. Belle Watson, were vanned over from Aurora and will be under the direction of trainer J. V. Pons. W. F. Knebelkamp, owner of the Louisville Baseball Club, is an arrival and will remain for an indefinite period. Mr. Knebelkamp has some horses here in charge of trainer R. Felix. • ■
