Reports from Florida are that Henry Collins, track superintendent at St. Johns Park, is still on the job keeping the place in order. This would seem to indicate that a race meeting may be held at this course next winter. . Harry D. Brown, Jr., is negotiating for the transfer of the 1,200 acres, the property of the H. D. Brown estate, which is located across the St. Johns River, adjacent to Jacksonville. It is understood that a New York syndicate is after the property. This ground was purchased by the late H. D.
