f AQUEDUCT TURF NOTES I e M. I,. Schwartz Gusto, winner of the American Derby, returned to Belmont Park from Chicago. Gusto is eligible for the Dwyer Stakes, to be run here. Jockey Laverne Fator and Elmer James, under contract to E. R. Bradley, departed yesterday. Fator left for Latonia to ride Boy Crazy, while James went to Chicago. Otto Townsend distributed the condition books for the first Fort Erie meeting. It was announced yesterday that during the summer meeting of the Empire City Racing Association the purses will be identical with those offered at Aqueduct. This announcement came after horsemen had petitioned the association as to that matter. The stake offerings, which were changed during the winter from added values to guaranteed values, will not be affected.
