MARINE TO GIDDINGS FARM MONTREAL, Que., June 22 Harry Gid-dings closed the option he held on the Man o War stallion, Marine, and the latter has been shipped to the Giddings farm at Oak-ville, Ont. With Marine and Koenigsmark II. standing at his place, Gidding should find no trouble in filling the books of both stallions. Giddings, by the way, is one of the most progressive breeders in Canada and, incidentally, there is no better student of bloodlines than this same Giddings. It was he who leased Dis Done, the sire of Top Flight, last years champion among the two-year-olds. After Top Flight developed, the Whitney interests were not slow iri ordering Dis Done back to the Whitney establishment in Kentucky. 1 1
