R. S. SHELLEY FOR NEW TRACK SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., Aug. 22. Robert S. Shelley, who will officiate as racing secretary and one of the placing judges for the Los Angeles Jockey Club at Santa Anita, is the latest member of the official family to be announced by John I. Day, director of racing for the new plant. Young Shelley has had an extensive experience as assistant to his father, William Shelley, racing secretary on the tracks of the various Kentucky jockey clubs. There was much interest in the Frame display of pictures showing buildings of the new Los Angeles Jockey Club, which was hung in the club house at Saratoga today.
