FAIRENO LEAVES FOR CHICAGO SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., Aug. 22. The Belair Studs Faireno, accompanied by a pony, departed for Chicago in charge of assistant trainer George Tappin. Jockey T. Malley will ride the colt in tle Hawthorne Gold Cup. After the race Faireno will be shipped to Aqueduct. Trainer Fred Hopkins stated the C. V. Whitneys Equipoise would be shipped to Chicago on Wednesday to fulfill his engagement in- the Gold Cup. Jockey "Sonny" Workman will ride him. Joe McLennan, who has been here in the interests of the Gold Cup, departed for Chi-cago today.
