I SARATOGA TURF NOTES I $ j James Fitzsimmons will ship a number of horses to Syracuse for that meeting. Word was received from Marshall Field that he will arrive in New York Friday, September 2, from Europe and come up to witness the running of the Hopeful Stakes. Hilena, from the Audley Farm, which proved a disappointment in the Spinaway Stakes, will be kept here and given an opportunity to redeem herself in the Hopeful. The stake books for the fall meeting at Belmont Park were issued Monday.
