WORTHYS PRIDE, favored by the going, moved up stoutly after three-eighths, continued well under .hard urging and wore down the leaders to win drawing clear. BOSTON COMMON, well up throughout, disposed of LITTLE GOBLIN, but could not withstand the winner. HIGH DIVER improved, was away slowly, gained gradually, but faltered when put to pressure. The latter, a factor throughout, held on well under pressure. LAST ATTEMPT closed resolutely. TAKE OFF, given a weak ride and taken in the deepest going throughout, showed a good effort. PRETTY PENNY was rushed into "fc good lead soon after the start, dropped back badly after going three-eighths and was eased up. GONSPRAY, outrun the first three-eighths, moved up rapidly, thereafter and was going gamely in the closing stages. CAPTAIN JOY, weakly ridden, raced on his own courage throughout and will improve under better handling. EDWIN WHITE was eased up soon after the start and was a distant trailer.
