1 LINCOLN FIELDS NOTES ! $ : 5 Therewill be no change in scratch time Monday at Lincoln Fields, withdrawals being at 8:30, the usual time. Jockeys G. Elston, W. Wright, W. Whitley, E. Terreberry, G. South and R. Finnerty were back in colors before Chicago fans Saturday. Wright excepted, all of these young riders came from Dade Park. There was an important addition to the many large stables on the grounds when Richard F. Carman, Jr., had the big Nevada Stock Farm Stable, owned by George Wing-field, transferred from Hawthorne. Some of the better known in this string are Hy-gro, Siskin and Vishnu. A division of Norman W. Churchs successful Northway Stable, trained by E. L. "Woody" Fitzgerald, was vanned from Hawthorne. It included the good three-year-old, Gallant Sir, which will fill his engagement in the Labor Day Handicap. The R. W. Collins stable, with Don Leon, Levaal and others, was transferred from Hawthorne. Miss Melody and five other two-year-olds and the older Martie Flynn and Aquaplane comprised the stable Stuyvesant Peabody, president of the Lincoln Fields Jockey Club, will race under his silks through the meeting. Fourteen trained by Jack Howard reached Lincoln Fields from Hawthorne late Friday. Besides his own, Howard is training for W. J. Foley, Mrs. R. M. Hoots, D. M. Rhodes and F. A. Wehle. C. Corbett is with this stable. William E. Schmidts Superior Stable, headed by Charleigh, a Labor Day Handicap candidate, Supreme Sweet, Hyman and others, is on the grounds in charge of trainer C. E. Dale. The Wood F. Axton string, numbering eleven; G. W. Ogles stable of ten; Tennessee Breeders establishment, harboring twelve, and other smaller stables moved over from Hawthorne. C. E. Patterson registered eight for P. T. Chinn and one, the three-year-old Flaunt, for the Warm Stable. For Thomas P. Hayes, who is convalescing at a Chicago hospital, Walter Taylor transferred from Hawthorne the Warm Stables Sabula and Hayes Marse Chan. Gold Step, handicap winner at Arlington Park and Washington Park, is the best known of the horses Sheldon Fairbanks has here. Charles Grayson got in from Hawthorne with All Hail and El Puma, and other of the smaller stables getting in from the same point were A. E. Barrett, with thre; G. Rung, three; H. W. Smith, three; D. S. Fountain, three; J. Bainton, six; J. J. Troxler, five; H. C. McConnell, three; Bruce Johnson, five; R. L. Rogers, four; M. M. Shields, six. The Reichert Brothers stable took up its quarters late Friday. My Dandy and Brown Wisdom are among the six ready to carry the popular silks of these Belleville, 111., patrons. Bobby Bowers is here to look after the engagements of Gilbert Elston, whose services promise to be in big demand.
