B. B. STABLE EMPIRE LEADER Heads Winning Owners List With James Butler Third. Empire City Racing Association Disburses a Total of 8,200 Over Twelve Days Average ,850. James Butler, owner of the Empire City race track, did not fare as well as he usually does at his own meeting when his horses were only able to win ,435. He had no Questionnaire carrying his colors this year, which explains why he fared so poorly. The Empire City Racing Association, from October 17 to October 29, twelve racing days, disbursed 8,200, or ,850 daily. The B. B. Stable was first among the winning owners with ,465. Mrs. W. Anderson was next with ,600 and James Butler third with the total given above. Alcman, winner of three races and ,100, finished at the top of the money-winning horses. D. Bellizzi, something of a fall sensation in the riding ranks, piloted eighteen winning horses and romped away with the riding honors. Hirsch Jacobs had no trouble taking the training honors when he sent seven fit and ready horses to the post. Following are the owners whose horses won ,500 or more: Owner. 1st. 2nd. 3rd. Amt. B. B.
