BOWIE, Md., Nov. 8 Every first, class American owned two-year-old still in training has been nominated for the ?7,500 Endurance Handicap mile and one-sixteenth feature on Saturday, November 26. Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney, whose eton blue and brown silks were borne to victory by Mad Frump last November, is seeking this years renewal with The Darb, winner of the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes, Stepsister and Hell Diver. Alfred Robertson, winner last year with Mad Frump and "Sonny" Workman, who scored the previous year with Sweep All, will both handle Whitney owned two-year-olds in the Endurance, which makes it look as if the New Yorker has a powerful hand in the biggest race of its kind during the Southern Maryland Agricultural Associations session, which opens November 14. The official list of nominees for the Endurance as announced today by racing secretary Joseph McLennan, follow: J. Since the Endurance was inaugurated in 1922 the winners in the order named have been Oui Oui, Tree Top, Sumter, High Star, Dolan, Sortie, Soul of Honor, Snowflake, Sweep All and Mad Frump. Snowflake, winner in 1929, holds the time record of 1:45. This mark is in danger this year as track superintendent Dick Pending has made it almost a second" faster than at any time since the Southern Maryland Agricultural Association started doing business.
