1 NEW ORLEANS TURF NOTES 3 A car of six horses unloaded Monday morning at Jefferson Park. The shipment included North Shadow and Gala Flight, the property of A: Vanden Ende; A. C. Hoffmans Mill Hand and J. E. Feeneys Pom-fret and Golden Play. S. S. Tracy also had one in the same car. Before leaving Sportsmans Park Hoffman sold Sir John K. to R. White, who trains for P. C. Thompson. The horse was turned out at Kapierville, 111., for the winter. L. C. Louis has Pan, Hasty Polly, Tortway and Indicative at Jefferson Park, having come here from Fairmount. Indicative arrived a sick horse, but is showing much improvement the past few days. E. E. Major has a useful stable quartered at Jefferson Park in Bill Orange, Major Gomez, Sammytuck, Beauty Bride and Elizabeth S. Major rested the outfit at the Fair-mount track for severa weeks before shipping here. Another regular to make application for stalls was C. A. Bidencope, who is -going to ship Stella F., Jeff ONeil, Zeta, Tight Rope, Jim Macaw and one yearling. A. G. Tarn, the Canadian turfman, shipped his stable from Sportsmans Park to Jefferson Park. It consists of Blue Day, Excellency, Jack Biener, Mozart, Abstain, Silver Man, Thistle Joe, Frank Light and Gay Donn. O. E. Pons finally arrived at Jefferson Park with his stable of five horses after being detained several days by state officials on the Louisiana tick law. In the Pon3 shipment were Bold Robin, Maechute, Mae-one, Deserve and Bounder. The racers came from Sportsmans Park via van. E. J. OConnell was an arrival from Jefferson Park last week. OConnells stable consists of Paul T., Doris B., My Fortune, Drury, French Maid, Vagabond, Huguerand Jeanne Wachs. The latter has been turned out for five months and is back in training; Jockey Jimmy McCoy, who is in Kentucky, will do the riding for the stable here.
