4 UNITED HUNTS TURF NOTES Dick Carman came up from Maryland for the running of the one-day program. J. W. "Bub" May will ship nineteen horses to Miami the latter part of this month for a winter campaign. He will have twelve for J. E. Widener and seven for Mrs. Katherine E. Hitt. J. L. Donovan will winter the William Gallagher horses at Jamaica. The stable numbers sixteen head. J. P. Smith arrived from Maryland for the day. He will winter at Aiken this year. Jockeys Earl Steffen, Tommy Malley and Charles Kurtsinger came up from Maryland to ride in the Whitney Gold Cup. Moonstruck ruptured a blood vessel, according to Dr. Richards, which caused his death after the finish of the second race .Tuesday. I
