SYRACUSE MEETING CONTINUES SYRACUSE, N. T., July 11.— Matthew V. Byrne, president of the Onondaga Racing Association, after having spoken with Frank J. Bryan, steward representing the New York state racing commission, in reference to the ruling of attorney general John J. Bennett, had the following to say today: "We have been given to understand that Mr. Swope, chairman of the state racing commission, would not interfere with this meeting. The meeting will continue in as proper a manner as it has been conducted to date and that the question at issue will be fought out at some later time."
