1 ARLINGTON PARK NOTES | ยง _s Apprentice Paul Clelland, who was among the leading riders at the recent Latonia meeting, donned the colors for the first time at Arlington Park when he drew the assignment on Scandal Sheet in the fourth race Wednesday. A. C. Detwiler was allotted stalls for twelve head which he brought here to race for Mrs. B. Franzheim. The shipment was unloaded Wednesday morning. R. T. Runnels, who is training a public stable, was another that came in from the Milldale course. He brought six performers, which comprise Dandy Jay and Busy Jay, the property of B. Friend. For his wife, Mrs. R. T. Runnels, he has Star Bud. Royal Gold and Sweet Peach will perform under the colors of Dubbs and Runnels, while Our Sammie races in the interest of R. Varwig. Dr. L. M. Holmes checked in at Hawthorne with four head consisting of Old Bill, Noels First and Rocky Way, which will race for him. Canteron completes the quartet and will perform for L. C. Bond. Mack Garner took Wednesday off to take his family to the worlds fair. Mrs. Garner and the children arrived Wednesday morn- , ing from New York and will stay for the remainder of the meeting.
