r CLAIMS AND SALES ] * * The following claims were made at Empire City Friday: Jesting, by J. McGee, for ,000; Wrackstone, by J. McGee, for ,500; Stealthy Step, by F. J. Valli, for ,500; Pom-ponius, A. G. Robertson, ,800. The fifty-second and fifty-third claims of the meeting were filed in the eighth race at Arlington Park Friday when J. Dine deposited ,500 for Jay Vee, while T. C. Wor-den put in a similar amount to take Long Bit. Halter men were active in the first race at Arlington Park Saturday when the F. L. B. Stable took Hoosiers Pride out of the first race for ,500, and Judge Judy went to Edward Trotter for the same amount. Edward Trotter made his second claim of the day when he took Deadeye Dick out of the second race at Arlington Park Saturday for his entered price of ,000. C. E. Smith claimed Nyack out of the see* ond race at Detroit Saturday for ,000.
