Won easily ; second and third driving. GAY MONARCH showed much early speed, shook off CROON after half a mile, drew clear on the turn, increased his margin in the stretch and won in hand. BARN SWALLOW, saved for half a mile, gained gradually thereafter, but could not overhaul the winner. CROON forced a fast early pace and held on resolutely. PA1RBYPA1R raced evenly.
