ARLINGTON DOWNS NOTES 3 S Many members of the state democratic executive committee, arriving in Fort Worth for the second Jefferson Day dinner Saturday, plan to attend Saturdays races at Arlington Downs. In addition to Harry H. Woodring, assistant secretary of war and former governor of Kansas, who will be the principal speaker at the banquet, those intending to visit Arlington Downs include Ira Butler, Fort Worth; Myran Blaylock Marshall, who is chairman of the organization; Raymond E. Buck, head of the states Young Democrats; State Senator Frank H. Rawlin, and Lieut. Governor Walter Woo-dul of Houston; Senator Clint C. Small; John T. Scott, Jr.; Elliott Roosevelt, who is slated to receive a life-size portrait of his distinguished father painted by Douglas Chandor of Aledo, and who plans to present this portrait to the people of the state of Texas, also will be a member of Jtke grouj?. attending Saturday racegi
