NARRAGANSETT CLAIMING RULE PAWTUCKET, R. I., April 13 Commissioner James C. Thornton, one-man racing board of Rhode Island, last night released his revision of the claiming rules under which horse racing will be conducted at Narragansett Park this season. It is amended toj read as follows: "144 In claiming races, any horse is subject to claim for its entered price by any one who has started a horse at the meeting at which the claim is made; or by his authorized agent, but for the account only of the owner making the claim or for whom the claim was made by the agent, provided, however, that no person shall claim his own horse or cause his own horse to be claimed directly or indirectly for his own account, nor shall any person claim more than one horse from one race. A start at the meeting for the purpose of this rule, is any horse that goes to the post up to and .including the race in which the claim is made.
