PERCENT, away well, was rated along under stout restraint while in close pursuit of ARABS ARROW, moved up readily on the outside when called upon after reaching the stretch and drew away easily to have considerable left. ARABS ARROW had good speed from the start, was well rated, but could not withstand the winner and tired slightly near the end. UPPER BERTH was under mild urging to keep up, came wide into the stretch and gained slowly under strong handling. CROSS S. had belated speed. ALICE JEAN, away fast, was rated along in near attendance of the early leader, was taken to the outside entering the stretch and gained slowly to take command a sixteenth out. WOODBERRY was under steady restraint during the opening eighth, moved up readily on the outside to race ARIEL QUEEN into submission, drew out, but faltered near the end. AMNERIS. rated well back of the pace, came fast in the final quarter. RED RAIDER showed an even effort. JOHN ALLEN was outrun. ARIEL QUEEN dwelt, slightly at the start, settled into her stride quickly thereafter and hustled to the front, was placed to punishment when challenged, but faltered badly. RAMROD, away fast, was taken under restraint while in close pursuit of the pace, was compelled to race on the outside throughout and finished in determined fashion. MISS LIZZIE, also well up from the start, saved ground the entire journey, but tired in the final eighth. KING CARL was slow to settle into his stride and made up ground gradually on the outside. COUNT ARTHUR was hustled along to keep up in the early stages, was severely shaken up leaving the back stretch and, although under strong punishment through the stretch, failed to respond. REVELSTOKE was under steady restraint while in close pursuit of the pacemaker, moved up slowly on the outside leaving the back stretch and had to be hard ridden through the stretch to draw out near the end. GALLETTE set a steady pace under wraps for five-eighths, was shaken up midway of the second turn, then withstood the winners challenge gamely until tiring in the final sixteenth. BABY SIS, well up from the start, attempted to slip through on the inside at the three-eighths post, was blocked and could not improve its position on the outside thereafter. COLLEGE MISS broke in a tangle, moved up to a contending position nearing the stretch and hung. CHESTER ROSE bore out badly on the first turn. Overweight College Miss, 2 pounds. MOUSE TRAP lacked early speed, javed ground while advancing on the second turn, came to the outside and was rapidly overtaking the winner. WHATWAY was well up from the start while saving ground and gained slowly in the final quarter. CORNER BOY was hustled along to set the early pace, but tired gradually in the final half mile. LUMINTA faltered after five-eighths. Overweight Luminta, 3 pounds.
