C. Simpson, H. Hughes, P. Clellan, W. Moran, E. De Prang, W. Moran, F. A. Smith, S. Roberts, O. Hanauer, L. McDermott, H. W. Fisher, R. Morrison, A. Morgan, C. McTague, R. Hightshoe, M. Calvert, F. Mann and others. A. A. Baroni also confirmed reports that he has engaged jockey Wayne Wright for the Waggoner meeting. Wright is expected in time to accept mounts here Saturday. Another crack rider for the meeting is Willie Ray, contract pilot for the large stable Edward Hayward is racing for James D. Norris, Jr., of Chicago. Fully recovered from injuries received in a fall at Saratoga, Ray will don colors for the first time. Trainer C. Howard with R. C. Thatchers string of eight was among the later arrivals. The Thatcher racers are Pharolar, Pecos, Payne, Cottingham, Undulate, Tenace, Fra Diavolo and Asyouwere. The horses of Mrs. Ed Haughton and Mrs. F. We3t shipped here from Rockingham Park under trainer Edward Haughton, number twenty-one and include Black Highbrow. Advising Anna, Fitkin. Bedight, Postscript, Good Soldier, Cascapedia, Crowned Head, Wee Wink and Hastinoia. Jockey Frank C. Mauro was an arrival from Maryland and will ride free lance. -
