FINAL DAY AT ROCKINGHAM ,000 Added Bennington Handicap Farewell Offering at Salem. Accolade Top Weight Among Ten Overnight Eligibles Post Time for First Race Moved Up to 1:15. SALEM, N. H., Oct. 21.- The New Hampshire Jockey Club bid3 farewell to New England racing for 1936 tonorrow with an eight-race program headed by the ,000 added Bennington Handicap, in which ten crack thoroughbreds are listed to compete over the mile and a furlong distance. Post time for the final day of the autumn meeting will be 1:15 p. m. to assure racegoers that the final event will be sent from the post no later than 5:15 p. m. The ten candidates for the ,000 added purse survive a list of nineteen nominations for the third running of the fixture. Mrs. C. Cranes Ladfield was the winner of last years renewal of the event, while the first running of the annual feature went to Advising Anna. Because of the distance and the fact that he is carrying top impost of 123 pounds, giving away from five to twenty-five pounds to his rivals, it is unlikely that Accolade, the sterling handicap performer of Don Christmas, will be installed the favorite. New England racing enthusiasts, however, will show a liking for the Bright Knight gelding because of his fine record during the season here and the fact that he seems razor sharp If his recent sparkling six furlongs work of 1:14 eased up is any indication. REPAYS PURCHASE PRICE. Nearest to Accolade in the weight assignment is Steve Panarellas Howard, which goes to the post with a burden of 118 pounds. The Rolled Stocking gelding, acquired by the halter route from the Araho Stable at Narragansett last summer, has more than paid for himself since then. He has the ,000 added What Cheer Handicap at Narragansett and the recent ,000 added Mount Washington Handicap at this course to his credit since donning the Panarella silks. Lightest weight in the event Is shared by F. P. Coltilettis Sandy Boot and Water-splash, the Childs and Walker filly, both getting in with ninety-eight pounds. Water-splash will have Johnny Barba, who SU""ca her to the winners circle in the White Mountain Handicap here, in the saddle again while Carroll Bicrman, the hustling apprentice, will have the mount on the Boot to Boot gelding. The olher light weights in the "eld will be Lone Star Stables Rip Van Winkle and Tugboat Frank, Mrs. L. H. Wards representative, both of which have been assigned 100 pounds:
