f SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES f Clyde Troutt reported that he had had the firing irons applied to Lady Federal and that she, along with Wild Transit, will be sent to the Troutt farm at Benton, I 111., to be turned out Troutt also reported that he has taken up the useful Hueu for racing at New Orleans this winter. Hueu was one of the stars of last winters Fair Grounds season. Trainer John Bainton has placed the ten-year-old Gormond, a former stake horse, back in training. He will race under the colors of Mrs. Bainton. Jockey L. Wilsons three-day suspension expired Tuesday and he was eligible to resume his saddle work Wednesday. John Jewell, who, with his brother, has several horses racing at Sportsmans Park, left here for his home in Lexington where he will attend the yearling sales. He expects to return to Chicago this week-end. The Jewell horses here are in charge of E. Louden. Glen Horn was an addition to the local riding colony. He came from Canada. Racing secretary Robert S. Shelely was calling the attention of horsemen to Saturdays feature, the Autumn Handicap, entries for which close Thursday. The Autumn Handicap, which carries a purse of ,200," is for three-year-olds and upward and will be decided over six and a half furlongs. A belated arrival from Northampton Park was T. W. Cochran, who brought with him the five-year-old gelding, Oh Ray. Jockey Ralph Bohn was suspended for the remainder of the Sportsmans Park meeting for rough riding astride High Diver in the fifth race Tuesday, by order of the board of stewards. High Diver won the race.
