TERRIER, hustled along from the start, was put to strong urging in the drive and finished strongly. MANNIE, steadied along for five-eighths, forged to the front approaching the final eighth, gave way after swinging wide at the stretch turn and came again when straightened, but tired near the end. WESTYS DUKE was in close quarters. CAPTAIN RED, hustled to the front, saved ground throughout, gave way when challenged, came again in the drive, but quit under pressure. JOBIOSO was outrun. VAN HASTINGS, lucky to find room when racing lorwardly, finished strongly. EPI WITCH tired. MAJOR GREENOCK gave way in the final eighth. TEXAS PAL was outrun.
