Won driving; second and third the same. , COSlPAN Y, closest to MORAL VICTORY in the early running, came to the outside of the latter in . the stretch to wear him down and, getting to the front near the end, scored in a drive. MORAL VICTORY drew away rounding the far turn, but was permitted to race partly in the heavy going in the stretch and met with some interference from the winner near the end. BLAUFUSS, although forced to the extreme outside in the stretch, was in the best going and finished strongest. JESSIE CLOUD easily held the others. The others were never contenders. PERFECT BLEND raced to the front early and, seeking the best going in the stretch, went well to the finish, but barely lasted to hold TORO PLAY. The latter came strongly on thc outside of the winner in the strc-tch and finished on almost equal terms with him. BUBBLING BOY was never far away and raced gamely to the end. AUDACIOUS LADY was in close quarters on the inside on the far turn and dropped back, but despite racing through the deep going in the stretch, raced well to the finish. CANDLELIGHT, closest to WELL-TIMED in the early running, came to the inside of the latter while both were racing very wide to take a short lead in the stretch anil won in a stretch drive. WELL-TIMED was taken under restraint after sprinting into a good lead, raced wide on the stretch turn in search of the best going and, although going well to the end, could not hold the winner. CELER DOR dropped back in the stretch. SON OF DAY closed some ground. TALL OAK and MOVE AWAY collided right after reaching the stretch and TALL OAK tired after racing into a contending position. PALLIATION, well up from the start, cut to the inside of PARADUN when the latter went wide on the stretch turn in search of the best going and, getting to the front an eighth out, held sway to the finish PARADUN set the pace under rating and raced well to the end, but lost too much ground on the stretch turn. YOUNG AGNES finished steadily. BROAD WINK got through an opening in the back stretch to loom up dangerously, but was eased back in an attempt to get to the inside of PARADUN on the stretch turn, but was bothered by YOUNG AGNES and dropped back." PLUM SHOT made up ground, but wa never dangerous. SKY EMPRESS dropped out of jt when the real racing began. MERINA raced very wide in the early part and lost all chance.
