TOM MOONEYS "FINAL" PLEA WASHINGTON, D. C, Dec. 8. Counsel for Thomas J. Mooney, internationally known labor prisoner, today filed in supreme court what he termed a "final appeal to the conscience of the court" in Mooneys long fight for freedom. John F. Finnerty of New York, Mooneys lawyer, submitted a brief in support of his efforts to obtain a writ of habeas corpus, which would bring about the prisoners immediate release. Mooney continued his fight for vindication in the courts, although the governor-elect of California, Culbert Olson, has indicated that he will pardon him when he assumes office because of his belief in the famous convicts innocence.
