100 HORSES AT HOT SPRINGS HOT SPRINGS, Ark., Dec. 29. Approximately 100 horses are quartered here and ready to begin training for the Oaklawn Park meeting, which opens on February 27. Quite a few smaller stables have been in the vicinity since the close of the fall racing season, while the horses of R. L. Stivers and Fred Cropper came in only a few days ago from Kentucky. Other horsemen who have their charges at Hot Springs are James Chesney, Paul Clous, Glen Gorbet, Sam Gor-bet, Ray Ford, Dave Hum, Charles Houbre, W. Harnett, W. Johnson, J. Oliver, S. Lieder-man, J. Spillman and W- Ray. A few horses here already have entered light training over the Oaklawn course, which recently was thrown open for that purpose.
