I TAXICAB DRIVERS TO STRIKE NEW YORK, N. Y., Dec. 30 More than 6,000 taxicab drivers today had authorized their representatives to call a strike, but no tie-up of taxi service is likely to be declared until after the New Year rush to business. "It will be the greatest taxicab strike in the history of the city," said Warren G. Horie, organizer for the ClO-aff iliated transport workers union which seeks renewal of its contract. The unions executive board was authorized to call a strike whenever it thought advisable.
