TECHNICIAN TO REMAIN At LOUISVILLE UNTIL DERBY LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 10. Present plans for Technician, Herbert M. Woolfs Kentucky Derby hopeful, do not call for his departure from Churchill Downs until he has filled his engagement in that 0,000 special here on May 6. This announcement was made today by Ben A. Jones, trainer of the colt which will be out to emulate Law-rins feat in winning the Downs classic under the Woolf colors last year. Although Technician is eligible for several overnight races in the Keeneland program book, Jones said that if the colt does any racing before his Derby assignment it will be over the local course. Besides the ,500 added Derby Trial Stakes, the son of Insco could start in a condition event on the first day of the Downs meeting, April 29. The Trial is set for the following Tuesday, four days before the Derby.
