DON SCURLOCKS LEG BROKEN BROKENDETROIT DETROIT Mich May 22 Jockey Don Scurlock contract rider for J L Chesney suffered a broken leg this morning at the Fair Grounds when Speedy Squaw from the B Stutts sta ¬ ble bolted through the open paddock gate while being galloped Scurlock fell on the iron fence and his left leg was broken above the knee The veteran rider was removed to Highland Park Hospital immediately after the accident
