NEBRASKA APPRENTICE RULE OMAHA Neb May 22 The Nebraska State Racing Commission today an ¬ nounced a change in the rule governing apprentice allowances Made to conform with the rule now in force at many lead ing tracks it provides that an appren ¬ tice may claim the fivepound weight allowance in all claiming races except handicaps for one year from the date of ofriding riding his first winner or until he has ridden a total of forty winners even though he meanwhile reaches 21
