FRANK TAYLOR PASSES AWAY AWAYFrank Frank Taylor veteran trainer died this morning in his apartment at 211 Delaware Place Chicago from a heart attack Funeral services will be held Saturday morning with mass celebrated in Holy Name Cathedral Taylor was 72 years old and had been iden ¬ tified with racing for many years He trained for many prominent stables includ ¬ ing H C Hallenbeck Willis Sharpe Kilmer Rancocas Stable and Coldstream Stud Sev ¬ eral years ago he suffered a stroke which forced him to abandon his vocation He is survived by his widow a son Gage and a daughter Mrs Henry Root He was a brotherinlaw to Mrs S C Hildreth HildrethThe The Finn was among the best horses he developed and he also saddled Worth for his score in the Kentucky Derby
