ALS GAL closed strongly next to the inner rail through the stretch and, under keen urging, nosed out HANDIGAL in the final stride. HANDIGAL raced into the leaa shortly after the break came, displayed keen speed and held on courageously in the final test. GOLD CACHE steadily improved position while working way up on the outside and finished strongly. ATES raced evenly, but could never eet to the leaders. HONEY CREST finished strongly. EVER HOPEFUL moved up Stoutly on the inside rounding the far turn, came to the outside in the stretch and. finishing strongly, won going away. HARGRAM displayed good speed from the start, failed to withstand the winner, but held the others safe. SUCRE raced forwardly and had no serious opposition for third. BOB HI worked way up on the outside. BALLYHAUNIS held on fairly well. ENTANGLING showed a flash of early speed. ETHELMONT boean slowly and was never prominent. OCEAN TIDE closed stronely on the inside in the last eighth. MOUNTKALA had no excuses. FAIR SCOUT finished fast. The others tired. ANTHONYS GIRL closed stoutly on the outside rounding the stretch turn and, taking command, drew away decisively in the last eighth ZACKIE was a forward factor throughout and was much the best of the others. FANDANGLE closed much ground and came strongly through the stretch. MARTLET raced evenly. MALEMUTE moved up threateningly on the outside at the turn for home, but tired thereafter. SWEET ZACA tired. BOLO WHISK suffered serious interference at the far turn and was forced to pull up. ROSE K. slipped through next to the inner rail rounding the stretch turn and drew clear when an eighth out, but tired nearing the end and was hard pressed to retain her slight advantage. BOBS SQUAD was a keen factor throughout, then came again in the last sixteenth, finishing strongly. LADY NADI closed very fast on the outside in the run home, outlasting the others. EVER TIME raced well up to the stretch, but tired thereafter. CARRYING TIME displayed earlv speed, but tired in the run home. The others wem outrun.
