AVOCA, steadied early, improved her position on the outside, forged to the front entering the final quarter, drew clear rapidly, responKwell, then challenged and. withstanding a hard drive, lasted. WILD CHANCE, well back early, improved his position steadily, was under strong urging in the stretch and just failed to get up. CAIRNGORM weaved his way forward through the field, moved to the winner on the outside and tired near the end. CALCUTTA, a strong factor from the start, wore down LOCH RAVEN approaching the final quarter, but was unable to withstand the winner and tired. MISIDENTITY made up ground. EXECUTOR lost much ground. THE DUCK, never far back and on the inside, came out in the stretch and closed with a rush. VEE, hustled from the start, tired. STRANA lost ground early and came to the aside for the drive. PET, forced wide when improving her position, responded to strong urging when reaching the lead, drifted out entering the stretch, then came fast when straight and m drawing away from BELLE DAMOUR at the end. The latter improved her position on the inside, gained the lead when the winner went wide on the stretch turn, was unable to withstand the winner and tired in the last stride. COUSIN NAN, a factor from the start, was pinched back on the far turn and tired. MISS BRIDEAUX finished on the inside. KNITETTA had good speed while racing on the outside and drifted out when tiring. The latter, a factor from the start, was pinched back at the turn, came again when clear, failed to menace the winner and held on well. SPIRAL PASS raced forward on the outside, drifted out at the stretch turn and tired. BOLA MOWLEE was in close quarters early and saved ground thereafter. POMPA NEGRI was unable to keep up. EQUIPET, fast*-i to begin and taken in hand when outrun, took command on the inside, bore out entering the stretch, but established a clear lead soon afterward and. drifting out thereafter, finished under pressure. AUREOLE was rushed forward on the outride, was bothered slightly when the winner vent wide, but was unable to keep up and tired in the late stages. SHE DAST, well back early, improved her position after a half mile and closed with a rush. CHUCKLE saved ground throughout and tired. PROlD ONE, victim of a badly judged ride, was slow to begin, had to take up after attempting to get through on the inside, came to the outside leaving the turn and failed to threaten.
