Abel to Sell Brood Mares BALTIMORE, Md.. May 9. — A. J. "Whitey" Abel, who began breeding on a small scale a few years ago and produced j a few useful winners from his small band of brood mares, has decided to dispose of | j four of them. Treasury Key. Marshy, Jaffa j and Quiet Time. The latter three were bred this year to Hero, while Treasury Key visited the court of Glastonbury. All are young mares. Treasury Key, dam of the winner, War Key, is by Master Charlie — Chowers of Gold, and has a two-year-old named Dots Key. Marshy is by Hygro —La Marsa, and has out the two-year-old War Shy. Jaffa, the get of Bucellus— Lady Jaffa, is the dam of the two-year-old Private Earl. Quiet Time, a daughter of Time Maker — Quietude, is the dam of the two-year-old Miss Conflict. .
