The Brown colorbearer has had plenty of j races this year and won an engagement at 1 Tropical Park at the same distance. The - dockers report that he has been working f well around the turns on this half-mile | oval. Equioval looks like the one that will offer the stiffest competition in the feature. Mr. Smith, from the stable of Clark and Hedde, who is making his third start here in this ; event, has already been returned a winner. He won his first start at the distance route of one mile and seventy yards. Others that are named to face the starter in the head-liner are Idle Lad, Miss Pittypat, Wayriel, Heno Lion, Muscatine, Buyer Beware and Lyner.
