Plans of Gansett Officials PAWTUCKET, R. I., May 9.— Narragan-sett officials will leave for many points after the close. Racing secretary Robert S. Shelley will go to Chicago to confer with Ecn Lindheimer, president of Arlington Park: will then go to Miami to pick up his family and return to Chicago for the Ar- | J lington meeting, opening on June 22. Jimmy Ross will go directly to Miami, where his family will join him for the trip to Delaware, Park. Starter Buddy Wing-field | will start the races during the last ; ! v. eel: at Sportsmans Park, then return to his home in Miami to await the summer meeting at Narragansett. Christopher J. FitzGerald, Jr., will join his family in Chicago, where he will serve at the Arlington and Washington Park meetings. Tommy Steele will pick up his family in Miami and return to Chicago, where he serves at Arlington. Jockey room custodian Jimmy Ferris goes to Omaha. Neb., where he will be in charge of the jockeys room at Ak-Sar-Ben.
