Enthusiastic Breeder BROOKLANDVTLLE, Md., May 3. — George Brown, Jr., racing official who serves in the stewards stand at various Maryland tracks, conducts thoroughbred breeding at his Grove Farm, near here, as a hobby. Brown never has more than two or three foals. But, he gets just as much fun cut of those small crops as a breeder of large ones. This years crop numbers only one. That recently-born youngster is a chestnut filly, by Tedious, from Pot d Or. The seven-year-old mare is a full sister to the good stake winner, Honey Cloud, being by High Cloud, from the Sir Martin mare, Honey Pot. This year Pot d Or will be mated with Challenger II.. Marylands premier stallion and sire of Challedon.
