REJECTABLE, outrun in the first quarter, moved up swiftly between horses rounding the final turn and, under a drive, came on to win goine away. HAPPY WINNER, having eood early speed, took command going to the first turn, set the pace to the final eighth, then tired slightly when pressed. CRUMPET, well up from the start, forced the pace to the far turn, then tired slightly, but held on to save the show. MY MOMMY raced evenly, but was never a serious threat to the leaders. CLOUDY WEATHER was pinched off in the first sixteenth while racing on the inside, but closed some ground in the last quarter when in the clear. Won ridden out ; second and third driving. SNOWCRYSTAL, a forward factor from the start, took command entering the back stretch and, under continued pressure, drew away in the final eighth to win by a safe margin. LOCK TIME, always within striking distance of the pace, moved up steadily while racing on the outside rounding the stretch turn, got up in the last few strides and got the place narrowly. SANCTITY, never far from the leaders, closed swiftly in the final eighth to be up in the last stride to get the show. BRAXTON BELL showed in front for the first quarter by a short margin, held on with good courage to the final sixteenth, then tired slightly. LOOK HIGH showed good earlv speed, but was tiring near the end. HOOSIER improved his position Steadily while racing on the extreme outside, came with eood energy when called upon entering the stretch »nd, after disposing of the leaders, drew clear. AKRONTOVYN took command approaching the final, turn, held on well in the drive, but was not good enough for the winner. BETH B. faltered after racing forwardly placed to the final eighth. EUGENE tired after racing close up for three-eighths. HI MlRT went evenly and had no mishaps. ACTIVE began slowly, bore out on Ihe turn, but closed determinedly after being itraightened up. BOSS HOSS secured a good position before leaving the back stretch, came gamely when subjected to punishment in the final quarter, but could not hold the winner. ANXIETY, never far back, came out slightly on the final turn and finished stoutly. FRANKS BOY took command early, set the pace to the final eighth and then gave way. OMELET was never dangerous. PINK GAL began slowly, worked her way up steadily on the extreme outside, responded readily when hard urged entering the stretch and, after taking command, withstood a brisk drive to retain her advantage. POET LAUREATE, in hand while saving ground for three-quarters, came determinedly in the final quarter, but hung in the closing strides. SEA TACK, never far back, finished strongly under vigorous handling. TRUE STAR raced to the front near the upper turn, held a clear lead approaching the stretch, but tired. MUCHO GUSTO took command before going a quarter, then faltered and dropped back steadily thereafter. McGARVEY and WILLIAM PALMER were alwas outrun. Overweight — Pink Gal, lj pounds. PERFECT RHYME took com-inand at once, set the pace for three-quarters under pressure from ONE TIP, disposed of the latter entering the stretch and had enough left to withstand GALLANT PLAY. The latter, slow to start, worked his way yp steadily, came out slightly for the drive and finished strongly, but could not get to the winner. TAKE WlNG, in hand while saving ground to the stretch, finished resolutely under punishment and gave a good effort. ONE TIP. much used engaging the winner to the final quarter, failed to stay in the drive. SUPREME SIR was unable to better his position and had no excuses. PERAGRA saved ground while fai hand to the stretch and, responding readily when roused, was up to dispose of RAZOR SHARP in the closing stride. The latter took command before going a quarter and gave way to DAZZLEMENT on the final turn, but came again in the drive and just missed.
