MYRTLE M.. away quickly and having nice speed, moved clear when leaving the back stretch, swung out turning into the stretch while well in front, then held sway to the end. HERODS PILATE, hustled hard to keep within striking distance of the leaders, came to the outside and closed with good energy. MILKYMOON, lacking speed early, finished well when in stride. COMITO, nearest to the winner for a half, tired fast in the drive. CHIEF TEDDY raced wide from the start. WAR GLENN began slowly and was outrun. SLEEPY was never a threat. RANDLES QUEEN, saving ground at the first turn to take command, met strong opposition from JEAN C then rallied strongly when straightened for the drive and came out under steady urging. PURPLE DAWN, caught in cloe quarters at the first turn, found racing room to better her position in the last half mile, but failed to reach the winner. JEAN C. overcame interference at the first turn and moved up strongly to engage the winner, but had little left for the drive. DOCTORS NURSE improved her portion, but gained little ground. MAYFERN began tiring after going a half mile. SECOND BEST was outrun. COLLEGE WIDOW showed little. HAPPY HOSTESS flattened out badly. CANDLE ENDS, prominent under steady pressure, went to the winner nearing the last turn, but tired gradually in the drive while under punishment. PURPORT, outrun earlv. swung to the outside and came with good speed in the drive. HIGH PLUME could not keep up with the leaders after eoin? a half mile. WELL ALLRIGHT. never far from the pacemaker and in hand for the first half mile, went to the front when ready and, saving ground, won with something in reserve. NAVY, smoothly handled and rated for five-eighths, went up stoutly to reach the winner at the final turn, but drifted out in the stretch drive. DON ORLAN, away slowly, improved his position gamely, but was no threat to the first two. PLACEMENT was strongly ridden and raced well. ONE ONLY set a fast pace for five-eighths, but tired fast. J.
